I’ve had the good fortune of working for Soaq for the better part of seven years now and am currently the Director of Client Delivery. Prior to my professional career at Soaq, I was studying at Concordia University where I received my major from the School of Community, Public Affairs and Policy Study. I also minored in English Literature – my original plan was to become and English Lit Professor – that never came to pass, but I did grow the beard for it.

I started working at Soaq with zero skills or business savvy. I knew how to communicate well, but they really took a risk on me. Turns out you can learn a lot over the course nearly eight years and today I can confidently walk into any business meeting and… pretend to know what I’m talking about.

Over the years the focus of my work has fallen on two areas: 1) video development for organizational training and corporate marketing; and 2) custom app development for training and compliance. All this is to say that I am focused on learning and development with a healthy dash of creativity. Every aspect of the work I’ve done has taken into consideration the goals of the business, the wants of the project owners, and the needs of the audience (external or internal). It creates an interesting balancing act that helps us deliver the best products possible.
